Peta’s Domain

Welcome to my website! I started this because I was having so much fun doing our family photo album on line I thought I should give an online journal sort of thing a go. Asiri has had his blog for a while now and wanted to set me up in one but I always resisted because what on earth could I have to say that anyone would care about. But then I realised, as I went through my photos, that my world changes very rapidly, especially because my kids are the major part of it and that is what kids do. So I should start writing down the funny things they say, what they are up to and what is going on in our lives so that we can go back in years to come and reminisce, like a photo. I have some letters that I had written during our time in Sri Lanka to a friend who thought I would like them back as a keepsake. It’s great to read them to see what was happening in our lives at that time. I also wrote a letter to my mum and sisters after the birth of Joshy ( my first baby) telling them all about it. I never posted it for some reason but have kept it in his baby album. I love to read it and remember that special time. So I guess this is what this blog is about. a record of my family and our lives so we can look back and see how far we’ve come.
